How much does it cost to finance a Porsche?

Porsche is a premium sports and luxury brand, so prices tend to be higher than mainstream or even most other premium manufacturers. However, financing a used Porsche could make ownership more accessible than buying outright.

The monthly cost depends on the model, the amount you borrow, the term length, and the APR you are offered. Rates start from 9.9% APR. Representative 19.8% APR.

Porsche has a reputation for being in demand on the used market, particularly the 911, which may mean used prices hold up better than many other performance cars. For PCP, this could be relevant, though used car values are never guaranteed.

Running costs on a Porsche tend to be higher than average. Insurance groups are high, servicing uses specialist labour rates, and fuel consumption on performance models may be significant. Factor these into your budget alongside the finance payments. Our cost of running a car guide could help.

Popular Porsche models to finance

Porsche is one of the most popular brands to finance in the UK. Whether you are looking at a used Macan or a used Boxster, HP and PCP are both available via Brumble. Once approved, you can get your car from any verified UK dealer. Here are some of the most commonly financed Porsche models.

  • Porsche Macan

Porsche's best-selling model globally. Used Macans could offer the Porsche experience at a more accessible price than the Cayenne.

  • Porsche Cayenne

A full-size luxury SUV. Depreciation from new could make a used Cayenne more accessible on finance.

  • Porsche 911

The iconic sports car. Porsche 911s have a reputation for being in demand on the used market.

  • Porsche Boxster

A mid-engine roadster. Used Boxsters could offer the Porsche driving experience at a lower entry point.

  • Porsche Cayman

A mid-engine coupe related to the Boxster. Popular with driving enthusiasts on the used market.

  • Porsche Taycan

Porsche's fully electric sports car. Used Taycans are starting to appear at more accessible prices.

What are my Porsche finance options?

HP for your Porsche

With HP (Hire Purchase), you make fixed monthly payments and own the Porsche at the end of the agreement. No mileage limits apply. Many Porsche owners keep their cars for years and view them as long-term possessions rather than disposable transport. HP fits that mindset.

Porsche PCP

Porsche PCP gives you lower monthly payments than HP. At the end, you can hand the car back, pay the balloon to keep it, or use any equity towards your next car.

Porsche has a reputation for being in demand on the used market. If your Porsche holds its value, there is potential to build equity by the end of the agreement. The 911 in particular has a reputation for retaining value better than most sports cars. Used car values are never guaranteed and depend on supply, demand, condition, and mileage.

Porsche PCP is often available on models such as the Macan, Cayenne, 911, Boxster, Cayman, and Taycan, subject to status.

Your rights during the agreement

With both HP and PCP, you have the right to end the agreement early through voluntary termination or early settlement.

Both HP and PCP may be available with no deposit on some Porsche models, subject to status and affordability. Given the higher values involved, a deposit could significantly reduce your monthly payments.

Via Brumble, you can check what options you could be eligible for with a soft search. There is no impact on your credit score. If you then choose to proceed, a hard credit search will be carried out which may impact your credit score.

Should I lease a Porsche or finance one?

Leasing and finance are different. With a lease, you never own the car. With finance, you have the option to own it.

Why Porsche owners may prefer finance

Porsche ownership means something to many drivers. The 911, Boxster, and Cayman are cars people form a connection with. HP gives you full ownership so you can keep driving your Porsche as long as you want.

With PCP, Porsche's reputation for being in demand on the used market could mean equity at the end of the agreement. The 911 in particular has historically been in demand on the used market. Leasing removes any chance of benefiting from that value.

Finance also lets you modify your Porsche. Whether it is aftermarket exhaust, suspension, or cosmetic changes, finance gives you that freedom. Leasing requires the car to be returned in its original condition.

Can I finance a used Porsche?

Yes. Both HP and PCP may be available on used and second hand Porsches from verified UK dealers. Via Brumble, you can finance a used Porsche from any verified dealer, not just Porsche Centres.

Most lenders allow the car to be up to around 14 to 16 years old at the end of the agreement, though this varies. The Macan and Cayenne depreciate more than the 911, which could mean they are more accessible on finance as used models.

The Taycan is Porsche's fully electric sports car. Used Taycans are starting to appear at lower prices than when new. See our hybrid and electric car finance page for more.

Before financing any used Porsche, a thorough history check is important. Service records and specification details matter on high-value vehicles. Our MOT checker and tax checker are free. Our Porsche reliability report covers common issues.

Is it hard to get finance for a Porsche?

Porsche models are high-value vehicles, so borrowing amounts are larger. Lenders assess whether the repayments are affordable based on your income and outgoings. A higher-value car requires proportionally higher income to support the payments.

The Macan tends to be the most accessible Porsche on finance, with used prices starting lower than the Cayenne or 911. Choosing a more affordable model could make the affordability assessment more straightforward.

A guarantor could help strengthen your application for a high-value vehicle. A larger deposit could also reduce the borrowing amount and improve the terms offered.

How Reliable Are Used Porsches?

According to DVSA MOT data analysed by Brumble, Porsche has a national MOT pass rate of 87.5%, based on 0.17 million tests in the 2025 test year. The national average across all brands is 72.4%.

This places Porsche above the national average, which could indicate that used Porsches may be less likely to have issues at MOT time compared to some other brands. However, individual results depend on the car's age, mileage, and maintenance history.

The most common MOT advisory and failure items on Porsche vehicles include brake disc wear, tyre condition, and suspension components. Checking these areas before purchasing could help you avoid unexpected costs during your finance agreement.

Our free MOT checker lets you look up any vehicle's full MOT history by registration number. For a more detailed assessment, our Porsche reliability report breaks down pass rates by model, age, and mileage.

Does Porsche offer 0% finance?

Porsche rarely runs 0% finance promotions. When they do, these promotions, sometimes described as zero interest or 0% APR, tend to be limited to specific new models and require an excellent credit score. They are not available on used cars.

Brumble's partner offers used car finance as an alternative. Rates start from 9.9% APR, subject to status.
